Chris Isaak

Christopher Joseph Isaak (born June 26, 1956), better known as Chris Isaak is a U.S. indie rock, pop and rock and roll singer and songwriter, and occasional actor.

He signed a contract to Reprise Records in 1984 for his first album Silvertone.

He released his best-known song in 1990: "Wicked Game" from the album Heart Shaped World and also from the film soundtrack starring from the David Lynch film Wild at Heart and from the 2000 film called The Family Man. The second video for the song (the first being a typical movie soundtrack video, with clips from Wild at Heart), directed by Herb Ritts, is also well-known: shot in black and white, it stars Isaak and model Helena Christensen rolling on the beach, holding each other, and whispering in each others' ears.

In 2001, Chris Isaak starred on his own television show called The Chris Isaak Show . It aired from March, 2003- March, 2004 in the United States on the cable television network Showtime. The show featured Chris Isaak and band playing themselves with the episode plots based on fictional accounts of the backstage world of Chris Isaak.

Isaak has also played minor parts in various films, including a cameo as a SWAT commander in The Silence of the Lambs.
