Chris Reifert

Chris Reifert started out as the drummer of Death when Chuck Schuldiner moved to California. He recorded the infamous Scream Bloody Gore album with Death. After Schuldiner wanted to move back to Florida, Reifert decided to stay in San Francisco. In 1988 Reifert started his own band Autopsy. In this band he played not only drums but handled the vocals as well. Autopsy split up in 1995 and Reifert and his band mate Danny Coralis formed a new band in the same style called Abscess . He also did side projects under other names, including The Ravenous .
