Christmas food in the United States
This article is about Christmas food in the United States. All countries which celebrate Christmas tend to have traditional foods which go with the event. Christmas and Thanksgiving foods are often similar. Christmas foods common in the United States include:
- Apple cider
- Candy canes
- Champagne, or Martinelli's
- Christmas cookies
- Cranberry sauce
- Eggnog
- Fruitcake
- Gingerbread, often in the form of a demolished Gingerbread house or decapitated Gingerbread man
- Honey ham
- Hot chocolate
- Marzipan
- Pie
- Roast turkey, less often roast duck or roast goose
- Stuffing
