Christophe Lambert

Christophe Lambert (born March 29, 1957), sometimes rendered Christopher Lambert, is an American-born French actor.

Lambert was born in Great Neck, New York, but moved away when he was two years old. His father was a United Nations diplomat based in Switzerland.

Lambert acted in several French films before he played the title role in Greystoke - The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes (1984). With the movie Highlander (1986),starring as the immortal Connor MacLeod, Lambert received media attention. He appeared in all three sequels and the televison series.

Lambert was married to the actress Diane Lane from 1988 to 1994. They had one child, Eleanor Jasmine Lambert, born September 5, 1993.
