Christopher Lloyd

Christopher Allen Lloyd (born on October 22, 1938 in Stamford, Connecticut) is an American actor.

Lloyd's first major motion picture role was as a psychiatric patient in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. However, he may be most remembered for his roles on the TV sitcom Taxi as Reverend Jim Ignatowski, the ex-hippie cabbie and as the eccentric inventor Emmet "Doc" Brown he played in the Back to the Future trilogy in 1985, 1989, and 1990.

Other notable roles for Lloyd were the Klingon Commander Kruge in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock and the villain Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Lloyd also appeared as the lead character in the computer game Toonstruck . He does the voice of The Hacker on the childrens cartoon show Cyberchase on PBS.

He rarely appears in public and does not give interviews.

Lloyd is sometimes confused with another Christopher Lloyd, an American TV writer and the producer of the shows Frasier and Wings, among others. The producer Lloyd jokes that he gets a lot of the actor's fan mail.
