Clarence W. Barron
Clarence W. Barron is one of the most influential figures in the history of Dow Jones & Company. He is considered the founder of modern financial journalism, and as such, the Dow Jones & Company financial newspaper, Barron's Magazine bears his name. He also served as the first editor of Barron's. Barron was a prominent member of the Bancroft family , the current majority shareholder of Dow Jones.
