Clyde F.C.

Clyde F.C. are a Scottish football team currently playing in the First Division of the Scottish Football League.

Nicknamed 'The Bully Wee', they were founded in 1878 at Barrowfield Park and currently play their football at Broadwood stadium in Cumbernauld. Their primary colours are red, white and black, and club honours include winning the Scottish Cup in 1939, 1955 and 1958.

The name 'Clyde' comes from the River Clyde which flows through Glasgow.

After 20 years at Barrowfield Park since the foundation, the Club moved to Shawfield Stadium . In 1986, the Club left there and shared Firhill stadium of Partick Thistle for 5 years. After that period, the Club then shared the home stadium of Hamilton Accies. Finally the Club moved to their present home, Broadwood Stadium.

Clyde's traditional rival clubs are the Old Firm and Partick Thistle which are all in Glasgow.
