Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus is a co-cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Honolulu.

The Co-Cathedral of Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus is a cathedral of the Roman Catholic Church and its Diocese of Honolulu. Located in the outskirts of downtown Honolulu, Hawaii, it serves as an auxiliary to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace. It was named in honor of Saint Theresa of Lisieux.

The original church parish was established in 1931 by Stephen Alencastre, Bishop and Apostolic Vicar of the Hawaiian Islands. Construction was completed only a year later, in September 1932. Reflecting the exponential growth of Catholicism in the immediate community, Vicar General Benedict Viera led a major fundraising effort to replace the church's wooden structure, showing signs of deterioration in 1956. Viera's efforts were successful and the renovated church was dedicated on August 15, 1963.

Having found a need to split the main downtown parish of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace into smaller areas of reach, Joseph Anthony Ferrario, Bishop of Honolulu, petitioned Pope John Paul II in 1984 for the consecration of a co-cathedral. A papal decree was issued from the Apostolic Palace elevating Saint Theresa Catholic Church to become a co-cathedral. Ferrario renamed the church and its interior was reconfigured. A cathedra, most commonly known by older Roman Catholics as the throne of the bishop from which he preaches, was placed in the church.

The Co-Cathedral of Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus is most often used for the annual Mass of the Chrism in which the holy olive and balsam oils used in several of the sacraments are consecrated by the bishop before being distributed to the parishes of the diocese. The Mass of Ordination is also most often celebrated at the co-cathedral.
