Coastal range

A Coastal range is any range of mountains forming a coastline.
- North American examples are the coastal ranges of Canada, Mexico and the US states of Oregon, Washington, and California, called the Pacific Coast Ranges.
The inland side of a coastal range may be in a rain shadow.
