Coconut of Quendor
The Coconut of Quendor is a powerful item in the Zork series of computer games which contains the essence of high magic. In Beyond Zork: The Coconut of Quendor, players learned that the enchantress Y'gael placed all knowledge of the magic of the empire of Quendor into the coconut, placed it on a ship, and set sail across the Great Sea.
The game Zork Grand Inquisitor revealed that Y'gael and the ship were lost, and magic disappeared from the empire as a result. The coconut was consumed by the Great WatchDragon of the Coconut.
In Zork Grand Inquisitor, the player sends The Griff back in time to retrieve the coconut from the mouth of the Great WatchDragon. The coconut is required to be united with the Skull of Yoruk and the Cube of Foundation to restore magic to Zork.
