Colleen Browning
Colleen Browning is an American realist painter who was born in Cregg, County Cork, Ireland in 1929.
She attended London's Slade School of Art from 1948 to 1948 before moving to the United States in 1949 and became a citizen a year later. She was a major figure in the contemporary realist movement in the United States. In 2003, after surviving serious illness, she gave a substantial collection of her paintings to the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art.
