The Collegiate School

- The "Collegiate School" was also the name under which Yale University was founded in 1701
The Collegiate School is an all-boys private school in New York City. Not only is Collegiate the oldest school in North America, founded in 1628 by the Reformed Protestant Dutch Church as a school for the children of Dutch colonists, but it is also considered one of the finest preparatory schools in the United States.
Notable alumni include John F. Kennedy, Jr., Andrew Daines, Daniel Kozin, Will Smith, Nick Parker, Nick Clifford, Dan Vroom, Brian Price, Zach Squire, Will Scott, and David Duchovny.
