Collision Course

Collision Course is a CD/DVD set released on November 30, 2004 by Linkin Park and Jay-Z. The CD contains six tracks, mash-ups between songs by both artists. The DVD contains special behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the album, as well as the entire live concert performed at The Roxy. Also included are the five scenes from the concert shown on MTV Ultimate Mash-Ups and a picture gallery.

Warning: This CD contains explicit lyrics.

Response

Although this album reached high in the charts, many people were disappointed in either Linkin Park for collaborating with a mainstream rap artist or for Jay-Z collaborating with a rock group. These two styles of music have many devout fans and despite their stubborn views on change the album has introduced many fans to new genres.
