Command Master Chief Petty Officer
A Command Master Chief Petty Officer is the senior enlisted person of a United States Navy command. In many ways he or she is considered a font of knowledge and a parent figure. They are a major resource for the command's officer. On smaller ships, this position may be filled by a Senior Chief Petty Officer.
