  • Both Nate and Marni are set up on blind dates. They meet each other on the hall of Marni's building. They both are happy with their blind date until they realize they were supposed to meet other people for their dates.

  • Nate has never invited Marni over to his apartment because he is embarrassed by the clutter in it. Marni and Tess decide to break in Nate's apartment to see what he had to hide.

  • For the first time since the start of their relationship, Nate spends the night at Marni's apartment and they decide to have a picnic on the morning after. Marni's father that abandoned her when she was younger reappears and destroy their picnic plans.

  • After four months into their relationship, Marni tells Nate that her birthday is on the next day. With very little time to get her the perfect gift, Nate gets her a "big cookie". His present, however is out done by half of New York, including de NYPD and Todd.
