Company
A company in the broadest sense is an aggregation of people who stay together for a common purpose. Such usage includes people assembled
- for commercial or judicial purposes, organised as a type of business organization. See company (law) or the term corporation which may have the same meaning, depending on the jurisdiction.
- for military purposes. See company (military unit).
- as the officers and crew, collectively, of a ship.
- as firefighters stationed in one location[1], or even more specifically, firefighters associated with a single fire engine[2].
Company is also the name of several creative works:
- Company , a musical by Stephen Sondheim.
- Company , a book by Samuel Beckett.
- Company , a 2002 Hindi movie by Ram Gopal Varma starring Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi.
