Conejo Valley
The Conejo Valley is a region spanning both Southeastern Ventura County and Northwestern Los Angeles County in Southern California. The name is derived from the Spanish word for rabbit - conejo. The Santa Clara River Valley is due north.
Many high-tech companies, particularly those in biotechnology, including Amgen and Baxter, are prevalent in the area. Although the region is predominantly white with a large Hispanic minority, there is a small, but growing, Asian minority in the region, many of which work in the region's many high-tech companies.
