Constanţa is a Romanian county (Judeţ) in the Dobrogea region,
with the capital city at Constanţa (population: 310.471).
Its common abbreviation is CT.

Much of the territory of Constanta county comprises of a low-lying plateau with a continental semi-arid climate. The Black Sea coast - streching about 120 km (75 miles) - has a maritime climate with less contrasts than the interior.
