Cope reaction
The Cope reaction is a sigmatropic rearrangement reaction. This reaction rearranges an odd number of electron pairs within a molecule (intramolecular). The electron pairs are two pi bond(s) and one sigma bond. These electrons react by suprafacial pathways.
