Corporate title
Corporate titles include:
- CEO: Chief Executive Officer
- DOO : Director of Operations aka Operations Director
- CFO: Chief Financial Officer
- CIO: Chief Information Officer
- CMO: Chief Marketing Officer
- COO: Chief Operating Officer
- CTO: Chief Technical Officer or Chief Technology Officer
- Chairman of the board
- President
- Vice President
- GM: General Manager
- Managing Director
- Finance Director
Certain corporate titles are given more for honor then out of any difference in job function. For example, the COO title is often given to a manager who really only runs a certain division of a company but is set to be in line to be the CEO. The titles "President" and "Vice President" are given in the same way.
