Creswellian
Creswellian is a British Palaeolithic culture named after the type site of Creswell Crags in Derbyshire.
It has parallels with the Federmesser and Hamburgian cultures of central Europe and the Magdelanian culture of southern Europe. The diagnostic tools are trapezoid, obliquely blunted blade and smaller bladelets . It dates to between c. 10,000 and 8,000 BP and was replaced by the Mesolithic Maglemosian culture.
