Csobánka
Csobánka is a beautiful village in Hungary near Budapest. Csobánka is located in Pilis which is a National Park in northern Hungary.
The name Csobánka is rooted on Iranian suban which means sheperd. The word csobán originated from the settlement of the Magyars in Hungary. The earliest record of the official name was mentioned in a tax minute-book in Januar 3, 1698.
Population
There are 2900 residents, mainly Hungarians, Serbians, Slovakians and Romani.
