Current
The word current usually implies a flow or movement. There are several uses of the word in English:
- An electrical current
- A flow of water or other fluid (including air; see wind); particularly, an ocean current.
- An adjective meaning recent or up-to-date, as in current affairs or his information is current and correct. See, for example, the Wikipedia:Current Events page.
