Custom
Custom:
- a common practice among people, especially depending on country, culture, time and religion. The difference between custom and culture is subtle, yet customs generally emphasizes practices while cultures rather focus on ideas. The concept of diffusion in anthropology relates to the spread of customs among cultures. Diffusion of innovations theory examines factors related to adoption of customs that are new to a person or culture.
