DUMBO

DUMBO is the popular name of a neighborhood in Brooklyn, an acronym for "Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass." It is located between the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges, which connect Brooklyn to Manhattan across the East River. DUMBO has become known as an artists' haven, as many of the expansive warehouses in the neighborhood have been renovated into loft space.
