Raymond Ayala

Raymond Ayala a.k.a. Daddy Yankee (born February 3, 1976 in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico) is a reggaeton rapper or dee jay.
He is recognized as one of the fastest latin rappers. His song "Gasolina" from last year's CD, Barrio Fino, has sold over 500,000 copies in Puerto Rico. He has appeared in more than 50 albums, including best-selling albums Más Flow, Blin Blin Vol. 1 and others. Yankee also performed with Nas in the Madison Square Garden and recorded with NY Puerto Rican DJ Tony Touch.
Daddy Yankee got his start on the local scene in the early 1990s alongside Playero DJ, one of the pioneers of reggaeton music. Yankee has also performed with LunyTunes, DJ Blass, DJ Eric, Eliel and others.
