Damita Jo

Damita Jo was an album released by music legend Janet Jackson on March 30, 2004 on Virgin Records.

Released fresh off the month-long controversy of the Super Bowl performance where Jackson had her right part of her bustier revealed by pop singer Justin Timberlake. Also released at the wrong time, the album didn't do as well as previous albums had done despite it being certified Platinum by the RIAA.

The album's only singles were "Just a Little While", "I Want You" and "All Nite (Don't Stop)". None of them became hits.

It received two nominations at the 2005 Grammy Awards, one for Best Contemporary R&B Album and another for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for the single "I Want You".
