Daniel Broderick
Daniel Broderick (born in 1986) was the bass guitarist for Melbourne rock band The Impressions. Broderick's early musical life was spent exploring a variety of different instruments, including piano, saxophone and guitar. Broderick spent many of his younger days playing bass and piano in jazz and blues bands. It was due to his time in blues bands that provided The Impressions with the blues influence that became part of the trademark of their music.
A proud advocator of social justice, Broderick was elected as the Justice and Service Prefect. During his tenure, Broderick was responsible for bringing Amnesty International's Stop Violence Against Women campaign.
An award winning author, Broderick went on to write a series of short stories.
