David, Panama
David is a city in northwestern Panama on the Pan-American Highway. It is the capital of the province of Chiriquí. It had an estimated population of 115,173 in 1996.
San Jose de David (Official name) is Panama's third largest urban area. It functions as a hub for the province's commercial actvities, mainly agriculture and cattle raising and supllies the rest of the country. It also serves as port of exports and imports with neighboring Costa Rica.
