David Cameron
David William Donald Cameron (born October 9, 1966) is a British politician in the Conservative Party. He is Member of Parliament for Witney, Head of Policy Co-Ordination for the Conservative Party, and a member of the Shadow Cabinet.
Prior to his election as MP for Witney he was Director of Communications at Carlton Communications Plc. In the last Conservative government he was an adviser at both the Treasury and the Home Office.
In 2004 the Daily Telegraph carried a story that suggested that he is being groomed by Conservative Party leader Michael Howard as a successor to the Conservative leadership. While this is questionable it does indicate that Cameron's future career is likely to see him rise further within Conservative ranks.
