David Clive Crosbie Trench
Sir David Clive Crosbie Trench GCMG MC (June 2, 1915 - 1988) was the governor of Hong Kong from April 1964 to October 1971.
A distant kinsman of the Barons Ashtown, he is not to be confused with his near-contemporary also in the British Foreign Service, Sir Nigel Clive Cosby Trench, who eventually succeeded to that peerage.
