David Drew
David Elliott Drew (born 13 April 1952) is a politician in the United Kingdom, and Labour and Co-operative member of Parliament for Stroud.
He first contested the seat in 1992, but was defeated by the incumbent Conservative, Roger Knapman. He succeeded in taking the seat from Knapman in 1997, and successfully defended his majority in 2001.
Prior to his election as MP, he had at various times held office as a councillor at Parish (Stonehouse Town Council), District (Stroud District Council) and County (Gloucestershire County Council) level for the Stonehouse area of Gloucestershire.
