David McFadden
David William McFadden (born October 11, 1940) is a Canadian poet and novelist. He was born in Hamilton, Ontario a first started working there as a reporter for the Hamilton Spectator newspaper. As he grew more renowned as a poet he quit the newspaper and became a full time writer in 1976. He is currently a professor at York University and lives in Toronto, Ontario. His poetry crtiques the commercialism and shallowness of modern society.
