David Mitrany
On work of David Mitrany (1888 – 1975) is based theory neofuctionalism also known as liberal institutionalism (see Liberalism) and international functionalism. Mitrany pioneered modern integrative theory. Whatever we call this discipline it's the third main liberal approach to International relations (Fisrt two are international liberalism and idealism). The basic principle maintains international (not only economical) cooperation as the best mean of softening antagonism in international environment.
