David Taylor (born 29 July, 1943) is a retired English snooker player.

Although an excellent player, Taylor never quite reached the very top of the game. His best achievements were reaching the final of the UK Championship in 1978 (he lost to Doug Mountjoy 15-9) and the semi-final of the World Championship in 1980.
