Day by Day (television)

Day by Day was a short-lived television sitcom which starred Christopher Daniel Barnes, Thora Birch, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Courtney Thorne-Smith. It ran from February 29, 1988 to June 25, 1989 on NBC. Day by Day was a spin-off of sorts to Family Ties as it was revealed that the family patriarch, Brian Harper (played by Doug Sheenan ) was a college roommate of Stephen Keaton (Michael Gross).

The most notiable episode from the short and otherwise forgetable run of Day by Day was an episode entilted A Very Brady Episode. It was significant because it was a reunion of the cast from The Brady Bunch. Christopher Daniel Barnes, who in the episode, dreamed that he was a long-lost member of the Brady family (named Chuck) would go on to protray Greg Brady in the Brady Bunch feature films.
