- Deep Throat was a purported source in the Washington Post investigation of the Watergate scandal.
- Deep Throat was also the name of a fictional informant, obviously a reference to the Watergate figure, in the television series The X-Files.
- Deep Throat is the alias of a character from Metal Gear Solid
