Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (also sometimes simply referred to as "Deloitte") is one of the Big Four auditors and the second largest professional services firm in the world, after PricewaterhouseCoopers. Previously known as Deloitte & Touche, it was formed by merger of Touche Ross and Deloitte Haskins & Sells in August 1989. Its global headquarters are located in Manhattan, New York City.

Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, Deloitte's U.S. firm, provides audit, tax, consulting, and financial advisory services through nearly 30,000 people in the U.S. Known as an employer of choice for innovative human resources programs, Deloitte dedicated to helping clients and people excel. Deloitte & Touche USA is the U.S. member firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and services are provided by its subsidiaries, including Deloitte & Touche LLP, Deloitte Consulting LLP, and Deloitte Tax LLP.

For fiscal year ended May 31, 2004, Deloitte & Touche USA recorded US$6.87 billion in revenues.

The names in the company title refer to William Welch Deloitte , George Touche , and Admiral Nobuzo Tohmatsu.

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu is a Swiss Verein (association). This means that DTT or its members are not liable for each other's acts or ommissions.

Diversity
