Demigod (band)
Demigod is a death metal band formed in 1990 in Loimaa, Finland. Demigod's music is best described as melodic death metal, somewhat in the vein of their fellow countrymen Amorphis. The members cite bands such as Carcass, Possessed and Invocator as their influences. As of 2005, the band's line-up comprises of Jussi Kiiski (guitar), Tero Laitinen (guitar), Tuomo Latvala (drums), Sami Vesanto (bass) and Tuomas Ala-Nissilä (vocals).
