Demolition (professional wrestling)
Demolition was a former professional wrestling stable in World Wrestling Entertainment which consisted of Ax (Bill Eadie) , Smash (Barry Darsow), and later, Crush (Bryan Adams) . Some say that they were formed as a cheap Road Warriors ripoff, but they actually ascended to success in their own right, winning the WWF tag team titles three times.
The team of Ax and Smash hold the record for the longest World Tag-Team title reign. They held the tag-team championship from March 27, 1988 to July 18, 1989, approximately sixteen months.
In wrestling parlance today, something that is "Demolition" is old news.
