Dhaka Medical College
Dhaka Medical College (DMC), established in the British colonial period, is the top medical school in Bangladesh. Situated at the heart of the city near Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka Medical College is an educational institution with a rich heritage. Each year, 150 of the brightest students of the country seek admission here after a very competitive entrance examination. The college has produced some of the country's most prolific doctors.
Students of DMC are also well-known for their cultural activities.
