Diazo
Diazo is often the common name for the diazonium salt; a light sensitive chemical which, when combined with an azodye in an alkaline environment will create a chemical reaction and change colour.
It may also refer to a method of document reproduction. This method is also referred to as whiteprinting in which papers, vellum, or films that have been treated with diazonium salt and azodye are used to duplicate documents.
