Diedrich Bader
Diedrich Bader (born December 24, 1966) is an American actor.
He was born in Alexandria, Virginia. At the age of two, he moved to Paris, France, but returned to the U.S. to attend high school in North Carolina.
After a few guest roles on popular television series' such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Quantum Leap and Cheers, Bader's first major role was in the 1993 series Danger Theatre , playing The Searcher.
He moved into cinema acting for the 1993 movie version of The Beverly Hillbillies but returned to TV for The Drew Carey Show in 1995 and Office Space in 1999.
Having a deep and easily-recognisable voice, Bader is a natural choice for a voice actor and has had roles in such animated features as Ice Age, The Simpsons and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.
In 2004 Bader played Rex in the movie Napoleon Dynamite.
