Disney's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Disney's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is a children's television series, set to air in early 2006 as part of Playhouse Disney . Mickey, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy and Pluto will star in this series, which focuses in on interacting with the viewer to stimulate problem solving. It will be the first time the characters will appear on television in 3D, thanks to computer animation. The characters were introduced in their 3D form in Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas, and the earlier theme park attraction Mickey's Philharmagic .

Each episode has the characters help viewers "solve a specific age-appropriate problem utilizing basic skills, such as identifying shapes and counting to ten." The series uses Playhouse Disney’s "whole child" curriculum of cognitive, social and creative learning opportunities.

The Walt Disney Television Animation -produced program was initially announced March 1 by Gary Marsh , Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Production, Disney ABC Cable Networks Group .

Mickey and Friends previously appeared in Mickey Mouse Works (1999) and Disney's House of Mouse (2001-2002).
