Division of Groom
The Division of Groom is an Australian Electoral Division in Queensland. The division was created in 1984, when the old Division of Darling Downs was renamed, is named for Sir Littleton Groom , a long-serving member for Darling Downs. It is located in the rural areas west of Brisbane and is centred on the city of Toowoomba. The seat has never elected a Labor member and is a safe seat for the Liberal Party.
