Dome A
Dome A is an Antarctican plateau located twelve hundred kilometres inland. It is thought to be one of the coldest naturally occurring places on Earth, with temperatures believed to reach -90° Celsius. It is the highest Antartican dome.
Exploration
Australia and China are working together to install a weather monitoring station on Dome A. This will be the first exploration of Dome A, and the first weather data available from the region.
