Dondi
Dondi was a daily comic strip about a large-eyed, Italian war orphan boy named Dondi. It was created by Gus Edson , and ran from September 25, 1955 until June 8, 1986.
In 1961, a movie based on the comic strip was released. Dondi was played by David Kory.

Dondi was also a tag chosen by a notorious New York City graffiti artist, who was widely revered by fellow writers.
