Downtown Expressway
The Downtown Expressway in Richmond, Virginia is a toll road operated by Richmond Metropolitan Authority (RMA). It is also signed as Virginia State Highway 195.
The Downtown Expressway extends from a complex interchange with the Beltline Expressway which is Interstate 195 and the Powhite Parkway, another RMA toll road to end at Interstate 95 at the James River in downtown Richmond.
It was completed in 1976. According ot the RMA, an average of approximately 54,000 vehicles utilize the Downtown Expressway each day.
