Dragonair is a rare Pokémon that did not appear in the wild until Pokémon Gold/Silver. It is the evolved form of Dratini, it evolves at level 30, and the pre-evolution of Dragonite, evolving at level 55. Dragonair is very sleek, graceful, and beautiful; it also is said to have the power to control the weather. Unfortunately, Dragonair lacks fighting prowess and has a hard time battling against other Pokémon. Once it evolves into Dragonite however this problem vanishes.

Name Origin

The name is a cross between "dragon" and "air," because Dragonair can fly.
