Earthquake (video game character)

Earthquake is a video game character from SNK Playmore's Samurai Shodown series of fighting games.

According to his official biography, Earthquake was born in Texas, America on July 25, 1759. He stands 9 ft 4 in (2.84 m) and weighs 1380 lb (626 kg). His blood type is A. His weapon is a sickle on a chain called "Fujiyama." His distinguishing feature is a wrinkly face.

Earthquake had originally trained under the same master as Galford D. Weiler, but got sick of it. When Shirou Tokisada Amakusa started creating havoc, he decided to steal all the world's treasure. A year later, Rashoujin Mizuki came into his mind and told him that if he killed those she told him to, she would reward him with gold each time. After the defeat of Mizuki, Earthquake and his henchmen left for Makai, never again to be seen.

Along with Genan Shiranui, Earthquake appears in Genjuro Kibagami's Samurai Shodown 4 ending.

Earthquake is also a playable character in the fighting game SVC Chaos: Capcom vs. SNK. Earthquake has been voiced by Masaki Usui in many of the games he appeaered in (Masaki Usui also did Ryo Sakazaki's voice).
